  • Who Are We: Home Safety Brigade, LLC is owned and operated by veteran firefighters who have responded to hundreds of fires, accidents, and medical emergencies. Many of these tragic events could have been avoided through education and prevention. We started this business to help prevent the tragic events we respond to every day.

  • Our mission: At Home Safety Brigade, LLC, our mission is to enhance the safety of your home and strengthen our community. Through comprehensive home safety checks, we strive to identify potential hazards and provide solutions that ensure peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Together, we can create a safer environment for everyone.

  • What we do: At Home Safety Brigade, LLC, we pride ourselves on employing veteran firefighters who have extensive experience responding to fires, accidents, and medical emergencies. Our team utilizes real-life expertise to thoroughly check your home for potential hazards. Following the home safety check, you'll receive a detailed report with recommendations to enhance your home's safety. If necessary, we can also connect you with a trusted contractor for any needed improvements.

  • What is a home safety check and how is it different from a home inspection?

    • Home Safety Check: A home safety check is an assessment of your home that helps reveal the hazards that can lead to fires, accidents, and medical emergencies. Unlike home inspections, home safety checks are often completed when the home is occupied and in use. This is an important factor because an occupied and in use home allows us to identify the hazards that are created by our lifestyle and circumstance.

      • We perform home safety checks on single-family homes of all sizes, town homes, and condos.

    • Home Inspection: A home inspection is part of the home buying and selling process. A home inspection is an assessment of the property’s condition.

  • Service Area: Currently serving Howard County. Coming soon to: Anne Arundel County, Prince George's County, Charles County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Montgomery County.
